Alderaan Considered a "Shining Star" of the Core Worlds. Wild grasslands and old mountain ranges dominated the planet's surface. Ice-rimmed polar seas were the only large bodies of water, though thousands of freshwater and saltwater lakes provided habitats for a large variety of flora and fauna. Alderaan was also the home-world of some of the galaxy's most famous animals, such as the nerf and the Thranta. Cities of Alderaan were often built with great care taken to protect nature. |

Chandrila home planet of Mon Mothma and is the second planet in the Chandrila System. The planet is covered with lush green land, rolling hills, vast oceans, and immense, pristine cities. The inhabitants are very democratic and environmentally friendly. Debates are encouraged on a regular basis in a debate rotunda that is located in nearly every settlement on the planet. The planet was a supporter of the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. |

Manaan Manaan is an ocean-covered planetIt is home to the amphibious bipedal species known as the Selkath. While the vast majority of Selkath cities are located underwater and out of reach to outsiders, the Selkath built Ahto City, a giant city floating above water, in order to establish a commercial contact center. Notably, Manaan is the only planet where Kolto, a liquid substance with advanced healing properties, can be found, and this product functions as the primary source of commerce on Manaan. |

Taris Situated on a hyperspace transport hub, Taris was once an important galactic presence but is decaying rapidly. One sprawling city covers the entirety of the planet surface. However, in most images there appears to be a long strip on the planet. This is believed to be due to an ocean. |

Hoth Hoth is the sixth planet of a remote system of the same name. It is a world blanketed by snow and ice. Many meteorites from a nearby asteroid belt pelt the planet's surface, making temporary craters in the planet's ever-moving snow drifts. Hoth has three moons, all uninhabited. Its native creatures include the wampa and the tauntaun. |

Korriban The Sith planet during the Sith and Jedi Civil Wars. Korriban is the sole planet in the Horuset System. It was used as a graveyard for Ancient Sith and was later reborn as a home and training ground for modern Sith. It was once a slave world of the Infinite Empire many millennia before the first Sith Lords came. Sith Lord Naga Sadow built his tomb millennia later around the Star Map, a relic of the time when the Rakata had used the Star Forge. Carved into the sheer rock walls of these canyons are immense tombs containing the desiccated, mummified remains of the various Dark Lords of the Sith like Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, Ludo Kresh, and Ajunta Pall as well as other powerful Dark Masters from various millennia. |
